Wise Choice Terms & Conditions

1. Processing Times

Orders are normally shipped within 1-3 days of you placing your order. If there is likely to be a significant delay, we will contact you.  All orders will be filled, in order of rotation received.


2. Unavailable Items

If the items you ordered happen to be unavailable at the time of processing then please accept our sincere apologies.  We will make every effort to contact you by e-mail and phone to see if a substitution would be acceptable. Failing response in a reasonable time, a substitution of equal quality and value will be made by Wise Choice or the item will be eliminated from the order.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping is determined by total weight and size of package. Shipping is by UPS Ground Service when possible for economy, but 2nd Day and 3rd Day Air will be utilized for shipping of perishable goods beyond the two day ground service, within the United States.  UPS can not make deliveries to Post Office Boxes.  Post Office Box addresses must be shipped via the US Postal System and may be subject to certain restrictions.

$200 and above A shipping discount of $15.00 will be applied to the total cost of GROUND SHIPPING on orders over $200.00. This discount will also apply to packages that have to ship by Air Service.

Please note: The above offer of a 15% discount on shipping for orders Valued at $200.00 or more, applies to orders being delivered in the 48 contiguous States ONLY.

International Shipping Charges: Orders that are placed for shipment abroad, will incur the shipping charges determined by the United States Postal Service for the weight and destination of the order.

Charges for Shipping Case Lots: In most cases these are shipped directly from our suppliers and therefore the rates may vary from the stated ground shipping charges from our store.  If you would prefer to know the exact cost before we ship, please notify us using the comments section on checkout.

Charges for Shipping Chocolate, Frozen Foods or other Perishable Items:

IF YOUR ORDER CONTAINS CHOCOLATE, FROZEN FOODS OR OTHER PERISHABLE FOODS. Then thermal packaging (a foam cooler.) dry ice or re-freezable ice packs maybe required to ensure goods arrive in good condition.  We will use our knowledge and experience to determine packaging method and use the smallest possible insulated case required, these charges are in addition to the regular shipping fees:

  • Large insulated case, Plus carton and dry ice: $24.00.
    Medium insulated case, Plus carton and dry ice: $19.00.
    Small insulated case, Plus carton and dry ice: $16.00.
    Mini insulated case, Plus carton and dry ice: $14.00.

IN ADDITION, IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE TWO DAY GROUND DELIVERY AREA OF UPS SERVICE FROM OUR DAYTON OHIO LOCATION THEN YOUR PARCEL WILL BE SHIPPED BY SECOND DAY AIR AND THE EXTRA SHIPPING FEES WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY.  This policy has to be non-negotiable as we want your products to arrive in the best possible condition.  If you’re concerned about shipping costs and would like to be advised of the total shipping charges before we process your order, that’s no problem! Just let us know!   Again, if you would prefer to know the exact cost before we ship, please notify us using the comments section on the order form prior to checking out.

Our STRONG RECOMMENDATION is to purchase frozen items in larger quantities and keep them in your freezer for later use throughout the following months,this makes shipping and packaging costs more economical. An estimate of delivery time can be calculated from the UPS website.  You will need to enter our ZIP code: 45424.

4. Email Newsletter Policy

Our email newsletters have and will ALWAYS operate on an opt-in, opt-out basis ONLY. You the customer have control with this service, Wise Choice has no influence with this email service. Wise Choice has never bought email lists, and will NEVER sell or share our customer e-mail lists. You can opt-in and opt-out of our mailing service yourself by going to our homepage at www.wisechoiceuk.com and looking for the subscribe/unsubscribe box
