Charnwood Smoked English Cheese ~ Various Weights.
Charnwood has a firm and creamy texture with a superb balance of flavours and a wonderful smoky aroma, and brings lively variety to a cheeseboard. Try it on crackers with a pint of English cider.
Price based on 1/4 pound weight. Average weight per wedge is 5-8 oz.

Recipe Idea: Smokey Charnwood Cheesy Bites
A simple open toasted sandwich. Use Ciabatta bread so the smokey Charnwood can melt into the open-texture of the bread.
What you’ll need: (1) 1 Ciabatta loaf bread – cut into squares, (2) 6 slices of thinly sliced smoked ham or rashers of bacon – we made it with British Back Bacon – and (3) 150g or 5 1/4 oz Charnwood Cheese – grated.
Directions: (1) Slice the Ciabatta in half length-ways and then cut each half into small squares. Then place onto a baking tray and lightly toast under a hot grill using the broil setting on your oven. (2) Place a couple of slices of ham or bacon on each piece of ciabatta – giving it a ruffled appearance. (3) Top the ruffled ham or bacon with grated cheese. (4) Place under a hot grill (broiler) until the cheese is melted. (5) Serve immediately and enjoy.
Goes great with Guinness or a hand crafted Imperial Stout!
